Don Bosco Mongolia-alumni association held the annual basketball tournament in Don Bosco’s sports hall on November 30th 2019.  This year, many teams competed in this tournament to support our activities. We would like to express our appreciation to all participants for being with us that day.

There were eight men’s and five women’s teams in the tournament.

Results of the men’s tournament:

• The Don Bosco staff team won a golden medal and received the cup which is inscribed with the name of DB Mongolian-alumni association.
• The Plumbing alumni team, who graduated in 2017, got a silver medal
• The Auto mechanic alumni team, who graduated in 2012, got a bronze medal

Results of the women’s tournament:

• The secretary alumni team, who graduated in 2010, got a golden medal
• The Don Bosco Mongolia-alumni association got a silver medal

The purpose of this tournament is to encourage team spirit among the alumni of the Don Bosco school and to collect money for charitable works.

We donated a medium sized ger, some food and cash to a single mother with 5 children with the money collected from last year’s tournament.

This year, we also plan to do good activities with the income from the tournament and donations.
