Shuwuu, Mongolia, 20 June 2018 — Summer is moment for the youth to take rest and to enhance one’s talents as well. Three months’ holyday is really a long period of time. Once Don Bosco said to his children before going to holid ays: “be busy always, it the time for the devil to gain you. When you are busy the devil will not lead you into temptations,” he added.

Holy Family Parish of Shuwuu, Mongolia in this summer organizes the first summer apostolate in order to help the youth in this area. There are several courses we offer, such as: English, Humanity, Music, Dance, Cooking and Welding course. English and humanity are obligatory lessons. There are several kind of music dance and cooking and welding are meant for adults. There are some volunteers from Korea and Poland with local Mongolian volunteers who are willingly forming the youth.

Summer apostolate starts with the opening ceremony on June 19 at 4 pm by Fr. Andrew Trung, the priest in charge of mission in Shuwuu. In the opening speech he reminds the children and the parents “The Church offers this course without any payment, because our main income is to train the youth to be more competent and intellectual.” He wishes that the youth would learn something in this three months. In this opening ceremony the youth perform several dances and the hymn of Don Bosco while the music teachers also show their talents by performing some music.
