Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, 29 January 2016 – Fr. Andrew Tin Nguyen, SDB the delegate superior of Mongolia conducted a two days seminar on preventive system for more than 60 teachers and workers of Don Bosco Technical School UB. On January 28, first day of the seminar, began at 8.30 am with introductory talk (orientation) and silent meditation for half an hour. Then, he dealt with the following topics, ‘loving kindnesses, ‘friendship’ and ‘wisdom’ in various three sessions.
The next day on January 29, they had sessions on ‘salesian assistant’ relationship’, ‘simplicity’ and ‘introspection.’ After lunch they spent time together doing some extra-curricular activities like games, funs and sports etc.
In the late afternoon, all the salesians and the staffs got together to celebrate the feast of Don Bosco in anticipation. The program finished only by 8 pm. The staffs gave very positive evaluation of the day. Everyone enjoyed and appreciated the initiative of the salesians. “Animation of the staffs with a lot of fun and learning makes much difference in Don Bosco School than any other organization of the city,” they said. “We have to apply the preventive system (love, religion and loving kindness) in ourselves and in our families and it will make difference in our society,” they added. Indeed Don Bosco has much to offer in this land of Chingiz Khaan where Christianity is just taking root and spreading. This is a very young church and it needs lot prayer and assistance.
