Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, 27 February 2016 – It was great a joy for Salesians in Ulaanbaatar to see about 60 students graduating after completing three years of technical and academic studies. His Excellency Wenceslau Padilla D.D., the Bishop of Mongolia was present to grace the occasion. All the students and the staffs of the school, parents and guardians of the graduating students were also present to express their felicitation to the graduating students.
The solemn graduation ceremony began with a grand reception in the gym with the words of welcome spoken by Fr. Andrew Tin Nguyen, at 9 am. Then, song of gratitude was sung by two of the graduating students. Thereafter, His Excellency Wenceslau Padilla addressed the audience. Addressing particularly to the graduating students he said that time of graduation is the time to express one’s gratitude to all the formators particularly to the parents, teachers, school faculties and to the salesians. They have played a big role in forming the students and to bring them up to this stage. “Graduation from school is not the end, but it is only the beginning of new phase of life, face your future with great courage and strength,” he added. After his message song of felicitation was presented by a group of students. And then, graduation certificate and other awards were presented to each outgoing students by Bro. Andrew Tran Lephuong the principle of the school and Fr. Andrew Tin Nguyen, the president of the school. The program came into climax when the graduation students came up on the stage with their national costume to dedicate their dance to all the people present in the gym and to express their feelings of joy and gratitude. The half day program ended with the thanksgiving words of Bro. Andrew Tran Lephuong.
